GrapheneOS is a security and privacy-focused operating system for Google Pixel devices. It is designed to reduce risk, strengthen isolation and give your organisation greater control over mobile data.
App Sandboxing
Every app runs in isolation. Apps cannot access data from other apps or the wider system unless explicitly permitted — limiting the blast radius of a compromised app.
Granular Permissions
Tighter control over what each app can access — camera, microphone, contacts, location and network activity can all be restricted on a per-app basis.
Hardened Kernel
GrapheneOS includes a significantly hardened Linux kernel with exploit mitigations and memory safety improvements beyond what stock Android provides.
Network Permission Control
Apps can be denied internet access entirely, even if they request it. Prevents unnecessary data transmission and reduces the risk of data exfiltration by rogue apps.
Storage Scopes
Apps only see files they are explicitly allowed to access. No app can silently read your entire storage — keeping documents, photos and downloads separated.
Auto-Reboot
The device can be configured to restart automatically after a period of inactivity, returning to a more protected pre-unlock state — useful if a device is lost or left unattended.
